I just heard last night where Israel is trying for peace with Hamas, even though Hamas only wants Israel wiped off the face of the earth, according to what they tell the world.
The Bible tells us to “pray for the peace of Jerusalem” Psalms 122:6 and I wonder how many Christians are doing that. There are at least two reasons, you most likely can think of more.
History has shown us many times how God will bless those who bless Israel and curse them that curses Israel. In my mind if you support your enemy, you are blessing them and if you bless your enemy then you are stating that you are against their enemy.
We need to show support for God’s chosen people, the Jews, because without them there would be no Christians.

Our Responsibility to Israel
In a recent text, a resident of Tel Aviv, Israel reported, “Because of the ‘Iron Dome’ and our highly skilled armed forces, we feel reasonably safe. Nevertheless, we deal with disturbing air raid sirens which are sounding all the time. Thank you for your prayers and please keep praying.”
“Israel is being attacked by violent rioters and the terrorist group Hamas. America must stand strong alongside our ally and friend.”[1] It is more and more evident that the nations of the world are turning against Israel. This sadly includes our own USA as seen in the recent changes in our policies regarding this long-time ally. The current administration is turning its back on Israel to favor Hamas.[2] These moves will clearly not benefit us or the rest of the world. God, who keeps His promises (Psalm 145:13), has stated, “Blessed is the one who blesses you, and cursed is the one who curses you!”(Numbers 24:5,9).
God is returning His people Israel to the land He gave them (Jeremiah 31:23; Ezekiel 37:1-14). His blessings to Israel depend in large measure in their possession of their land, the land promised to them (Deuteronomy 30:16). His promise of blessing to Abraham is given on the basis of their inhabiting this land (Genesis 26:3). However, not all are happy for this turn of events for Israel. Many nations are turning against them and in so doing, are turning against God. This is why Israel needs our prayers and support in every way.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: “May those who love you be secure. May there be peace within your walls, and security within your citadels…I will say, ‘Peace be within you.’”(Psalm 122:6-8).
Pray for their protection: Ask the Lord for His hedge of protection to surround them (Job 1:10), and a wall of protection for them (Ezra 9:9). “Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you…you surround them with your favor as with a shield.”(Psalm 5:12).

On my way home the other day, I heard a commercial with an old Johnny Cash song called, “I Walk the Line.” And one line stated, because of you, I walk the line. A catchy phase, so as I was singing it to my husband it changed to because of him, I walk the line. Because of God, I walk the line between right and wrong. Because of God, I walk the line between sin and righteousness.
There are people out there that say that they are Christians, Children of the Most High God, It has been happening for so long that the church leaders are changing the church’s doctrine to fit the life of the people, instead of preaching to change the people to fit the church’s doctrine.
The other day I was reading an article where the Vatican came out against same sex marriages and them receiving the blessings of the church. Some of the “ministers” from Germany have decided that same sex marriages should receive the blessings of the church even with the church’s doctrine stating that they should not.
If we want to walk the line that leads us to Heaven, then we must read the Bible and follow His Word. In 2 Timothy 4:3, it talks about the ones that do not want to endure, or live by, sound doctrine and that they will find someone who will teach what they want to hear so they can live the way they want to live and it lets them think that they are going to make it to Heaven.
This reminds me of what mankind is trying to do all over the world. Change it from the King James Bible to the Queen James Bible; some are wanting you to use the pronouns she and her instead of he and him. The last change I heard was to do away with the sex of God altogether and refer to God as “it.”
Just remember that if we love God with our whole heart, then we will walk His line and not depart from it. No matter what those around us are doing.
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 2 Timothy 4:3 (KJV)

We thank God for our mothers. God gave us mothers as recorded in the Bible starting in Genesis contenuing throughout history up till today. Around the world women are becoming new mothers every day.
Not all will raise their children with the love and teaching that God encourages. Yes, God encourages us to raise our children with love. It is up to us to show God's love to not only our children, it should be shown to everyone we meet.
Lord, we thank you for showing us your love even when we have not earned it. Thank you for the love you gave us and I ask that you give us the ability to show that love to everyone that we meet. We need your love and guidance so that we might show it to those around us.
Lord God, thank you for our mothers.

Luke 10:1 (KJV) After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
When we receive Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior then we are accepting His call to go where He sends us to lead the lost to Him. Are you ready?
The other day a young man was talking to me and told me that God had shown him a way to answer his phone. “Jesus loves you; may I help you?” He encouraged me to do this.
After answering this way for a week, I noticed something. I was being hung up on more by the people who called me. Then one morning God impressed me with something that never occurred to me. What would I do if they then asked me about Jesus? Just when we start to think we are doing good, God tells us to go the next step.
I had chosen to say; “Jesus Christ the Son of God loves you; how may I assist you?” Yes, I was spreading the word that Jesus loves them, now that I am comfortable with that, I am being asked to go the next step. When you talk to people face to face, you know who you are talking to and have an idea about how to show them the need for salvation. When it is a voice over the phone it is different. You know absolutely nothing about them.
Just as Jesus sent His followers out while He was still on this earth. Jesus still sends His followers out today. If you are a follower of Jesus, are you talking to people about Jesus? We use excuses about how we are never given a chance to lead an unbeliever to Christ. Now we, who have telephones (landlines or cell) should become missionaries to all who call. This does not mean to shove it down the line. It means we tell them about Jesus loving them and wait for them to ask for more information. When we do this, we need to be ready to tell them more about Jesus to the point that they ask how to become a believer in Jesus. Then we show them they way to become a follower.
