March 31, 2017

Greetings in the name of Jesus,

This past month has seen some changes at our headquarters. Sis. Marsha Colucci has been busy updating the looks of our headquarters/Camp Meeting facilities and in my opinion; it’s first impression has gotten better. Between her paint job, decoration skills and the work that is being done on the new sanctuary it will be like having a new experience this year.

Camp Meeting will be a new experience for those who have never been able to come to experience it and Lord willing it will be better than ever before (just keep it in your prayers). The entryway has a fresh updated look to it and if enough funds come in, we are able to get the electrical wiring, walls up and cooling in, there will be a new sanctuary with lots of room. It is something that we have been working on for a few years, as the funds have been available and with yours and the Lord’s help we will be in it at the Camp Meeting starting on June 19th.

Yes, Camp Meeting is fast approaching and plans to attend should be in the planning stage. Remember, if you want to stay in one of our dorms it is best to have your name on the list, as there are only fifteen beds in the men’s dorm and twenty beds in the women’s dorm. Then for those who wish to bring their RV’s and camping trailers of the nineteen hookups we only have eighteen left. If you would like your name on the list for one of these slots, please contact me by one of the four ways listed at the top of this letter.

It is with mixed feelings that I wish to report that God, in his wisdom, called one of our ministers’ home. Rev. Tamhra Bayless received her invitation to be with Jesus on March 7th, and left many people rejoicing that she has made it home but at the same time saddened because we will no longer benefit from her presence and the many works and plans that she had for her life here on earth. I wish to take this time to request that you uphold her family and friends during period.

            Fort Worth Sectional Fellowship Meeting

Bro. Gary Taylor had his debut appearance as the new Fort Worth Sectional Presbyter with a service with several churches being represented. If you were not there then you missed a blessing. We had forty-two in attendance. After some anointed singing and testimonies, Bro. Gary Wingrove brought the message using Psalms 91:1-4.

Some of the points that stood out to me:

  •       The more we move toward God - the more that God will move in our lives
  •       A Mighty move of God should be on the top of our daily prayer list
  •       Something good is about to happen and maybe God is wanting you to be that pivotal person that turns his spirit loose in the service.

Then after the preaching was turned into an altar service and prayer line Bro. Dan Gibbs was impressed to call those who were in pain to the front to be prayed for. Once the service was over Sis. Miller testified that her knees were no longer giving her any pain. Praise God. Keep her in your prayers asking God to continue anointing her with good health.

Bro. Gary Taylor closed the service out with the announcement that the next Fellowship Meeting will be held May 20th with the place being announced closer to that date. So mark your calendars and pray that it will be another Holy Ghost moving service.

            Oklahoma Sectional Fellowship Meeting

Bro. James Johnson had his Fellowship meeting at “The Next Level Ministries” church in Dell City, Oklahoma where Bro. Carl Fletcher ministered.

I have been posting writings by some of our minister (P.S.: I would like to hear from all of our pastors about their churches and the times they meet so they can be listed as well as hearing from our ministers.) I know that some of you can preach because I have heard you and would like to hear the rest of you and one way that I can ‘hear’ your preaching is if you write a sermonette or praise report for me. I cannot guarantee that it will be posted on the website or printed in our newsletter but I know they will be a blessing to at least me and some will be published in one or the other. In addition, I heard that at least one of you writes poetry and maybe some of you write songs. So let me hear from you.

I received this letter for our newsletter:

Dear Brothers and Sisters in the Lord.

Am writing this letter to let you know the main reasons why it is taking so long to finish the building project. The problem is finances. When we applied for our licenses, we agreed to support the general office of our association. Thank God, for those who send in monthly support without which we could not meet our monthly obligations. The problem is that only a few support us monthly. Most do not support our office at all. When we joined, we agreed to support the association. We willingly accepted this obligation, which some are not keeping. Brothers and sisters a monthly offering of any amount would greatly help out. I know that most of us are on fixed incomes. I also know that God will bless those who sacrifice an offering. So I am asking you to please pray and ask God what He would have you do on a monthly basis.

Again, I want to sincerely thank each one of you who has supported and is continuing to support our Association on a regular basis. Each offering is greatly appreciated more than you know.

Thank You,

Bro. David Wilson

Just a reminder, if you are currently looking for someone to help you design a website, logo or a business card that Bright Herd (www.brightherd.com or at facebook.com/brightherd) has offered us a fund raising option. Moreover, if you do not want any of their services there might be someone that you know who is looking for someone in this area. If you and/or a friend contact them be sure to say that the IFGEA recommended them and if a purchase is made our association will benefit.

5  This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6  If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.     1 John 1:5-7 (KJV)
