Camp Meeting 2019

For those who missed this years Camp Meeting, you missed an opurtunity to be blessed and to bless others. When we praise God, God blesses. When we received a touch from God, others receive a blessing and encouragement. When we tell about what God has done for us, others receive hope and an increase in faith that God will work in their situtation.

This year was a year of God’s outpouring blessings upon His children. People were slain in the spirit, while others received what they needed from God; healing in their body, healing in their soul, healing in their marriages and most important a healing in their relationship with God. If you need encouragement about the awesome power of God and what he can do in your life talk to Brother & Sister Conway, Brother & Sister Gunn, and Brother & Sister Sawyer; just to name a few.

Our attendance was up, God’s annointing and blessings kept falling all week and the fellowship of those in attendance was enjoyed by all. There were faces that I recognized from previous years and many new faces. Some of the first timers were, Brother Sappington, Brother & Sister Toliver, Sister Ballard, and many more that I did not get to meet personally. From what I understand we had some seventy-five in attendance several nights. Be sure to look at the pictures closely to see who you recognize.

General Board Meeting

August 13, 2019 at 12:30 PM

The next General Board Meeting will be at Westside Full Gospel Church in White Settlement, Texas and I encourage all Ordained men and women to pray about becoming a board member. There is still a need for at least three more members and with the growing number of women ministers in our Association it would be nice to have them represented on the Board as well as the men.

At this meeting we will be discussing the 2019 Camp Meeting, building projects, ways to add to our Building Fund so that new restrooms can be built, applications for credentials as well as those who would like to upgrade their credentials, and prayerfully the direction that God wants the Association to go in the future.

There was a short meeting during the Camp Meeting to discuss some applications and we are happy to announce that we have three new members: Sister Tamara Gunn, Sister Jimmie Lee and Sister Cheryl Whitby. Please keep them and their families in your prayers.

To make room for more pictures this was left blank. Keep a look out for next month.

Women of Worth/Helping Hands

Sister Ruff, our leader, had another wonderful service this year, due to having heard about last year there was more in attendance this year. During her opening talk, she read the obituary of one of our faithful workers. It was with sadness that we heard about the demise of “Somebody Else,” who was the most overworked person in the church after the Pastor. We need to pick of the slack that “Somebody Else” has left behind.

There was anointed singing, and a moving message by Sister Donna Stephens.

Sister Ruff announced the second annual Women’s Conference to be held in October at Sterling Full Gospel Church in Independence, Missouri on the 8th, 9th and 10th. Plan to be there, because the theme is “The Proverb’s 31 Woman.” If it is like last year’s, you will be blessed. More information will be coming.

General Board Members Needed

Brother Gary Wingrove along with the other Board Members would like our Association to be represented by a minimum of 6 to 8 board members. To reach that goal we would like for all Ordained Ministers that have been with us for at least two years to pray with an open heart and mind asking God this question. “Do you want me to become a Board Member of the IFGEA?” Then when God speaks, listen and then act on what God directs. Board Members can be men or women. We, the Association, need your support and prayers.
