Gifts of Miracles
Miracles are an orderly intervention in the regular operations of nature: a supernatural suspension of natural law. Elisha made the iron ax head to swim (2 Kings 6:1-7). God turned the sundial of Ahaz 10 degrees backwards (2 Kings 20:11). Aaron cast his rod before Pharaoh and it became a serpent (Exodus 7:10). More examples are when the water in the river was smitten and it became blood, when the water turned into wine, and when Lazarus was raised from the dead; these are miracles.
